From the Heat of Paraná to the Heart of Georgia — Our IS Teams Never Stops!
Our IS Production specialists have just wrapped up a defining mission in Paraná, Brazil, playing a pivotal role in one of the industry's most exciting challenges: the ramping up of a Greenfield Plant.
There is nothing quite like the energy of a new factory coming to life. For the past couple of weeks, our team has been on the shop floor during the critical first phase of production.
Building Competence from Day One
A Greenfield startup is about more than just machinery; it’s about people. Our mission in Brazil went beyond stabilizing the forming process. We focused on:
Side-by-side collaboration with the new local production team,
Real-time troubleshooting during the initial ramp-up,
Transferring know-how to ensure the local operators are confident and autonomous.
We didn't just help start the machines; we helped build the foundation for the plant’s future efficiency.
No Time to Unpack
In this industry, expertise is always in demand. The team is skipping the flight home and heading directly from South America to the USA to kick off their next assignment in Georgia. From a Greenfield startup in Brazil to high-level support in the States, it’s a testament to the versatility and dedication of our engineers.

Leaving Paraná is bittersweet, but it’s certainly not "goodbye." The Paraná team was amazing and the Hospitality incredible!

Well… that’s a wrap, folks! 2025 challenged us in ways we hadn’t expected — and still turned into one of our strongest years yet.
This year demanded resilience. Global uncertainty, shifting markets, and a decline in glass consumption across Europe reshaped the landscape for everyone in our industry. Yet instead of slowing down, we adapted.
We strengthened our presence in the American and Australian markets, and those strategic steps made all the difference — helping us close 2025 as our second-best year ever.
And that’s something we’re incredibly proud of.
Across Empak and ENNION, every office stepped up. We operated as one team, sharing knowledge, tackling complex challenges, and delivering projects that pushed boundaries.
ENNIONSTUDIO also continued to mature its skills, turning bold ideas into industrial reality at a speed that blends design creativity with deep technical expertise.
And Empakglass was once again officially recognised among the TOP 5% of Small and Medium-Sized Companies in Portugal, reinforcing our competitive edge!

As Empak Bulgaria concludes its current mandate with Rubin Glass, we reflect on a partnership that began in 2021 and has grown into one of the strongest examples of what Empakglass delivers: sustainable know-how, modern processes, and resilient teams.
