From Furnace and batch house operations to glass composition changes, we have worked side by side, exploring innovative mould designs that have successfully transitioned into serial production. Over the past three years, we have provided extensive Forehearth operation training, job change support, and on-site assistance with IS forming process.

We've also enhanced knowledge through our Cold end and QC training programs, ensuring that every step of the glass production process is handled with expertise and precision.

Together with the remarkable team at Rubin Glass Factory, we have achieved significant milestones, and we take immense pride in the progress we have made.

We would like to extend our heartfelt gratitude to Rubin Glass Factory for their unwavering confidence in Empak Glass. This collaboration is a testament to what can be accomplished when two passionate teams unite with a shared vision. Here’s to inspiring future endeavors and continued excellence in our industry!

Empak returned again to Takestan City, near Qazvin, Iran for a Mould Design, IS Production and Mouldshop Training, with MOFID GLASS, NAFIS GLASS and ZABSAN Urmia Ind.

Using the holistic approach of Empak's Concept+ on its usual roadmap starting from the glass and its properties, then glass conditioning, gob loading and IS timing combined with a good mould design as well as the material properties, all tied to real production scenarios—because theory has to earn its place on the shopfloor!

This enables to start productions on a better starting point, reduce defects and ultimately reduce the time to market.

Using step by step examples, from the actual glass bottle development, by tackling concepts as:

  • Brimful/filling capacity

  • Weight

  • Headspace

  • Tilting angle

  • Product to be filled, temperatures that the filled product will endure

ree

And from there proceeding to parison design rules and forming Simulation to determine a wall thickness distribution and from there to proceed to:

  • Impacts loads according to the filling line characteristics

  • Vertical loads on capping, pallet empty and full

  • Internal pressure buildup on QC-test, pasteurization and even transport conditions.

And finally using the corresponding IS machine Mould Design manuals for the selection of assemblies, inverts and IS machine limits, several scenarios were tested!

Huge "MERCY" to the attending team for tossing in some tough technical challenges—just the kind of stuff that makes Product Development and Mould Design such critical pillars in the container glass supply chain.

Next stop? You tell us. Let’s build it.

Sincerely,

All Empakglass Team!
