Well...that is it, Folks! Another year goes by! 2024 provided Empak and ENNION a new set of challenges!
It is with a huge sense of pride and joy that we see all of our offices working as a single Team and Unit, with several projects made in partnership. Compared with 2023, which had been the best year ever, we have grown 61%! Empak India has taken his role as a consolidator for the local India's Market and we expect even more in the upcoming year.
ENNION has also become much more visible in creating glass container concepts from scratch and make them reach industrialization, in a fast pace by combining our conceptual design Know-how with our field work technical experience.
Once again and for the second time in a row, Empakglass was officially distinguished for being a company that promotes and acts to have equal pay for work of equal or comparable value between women and men.
To all our current and former colleagues, our clients that continue to believe and challenge us, we can only say that we are looking forward to 2025 and to bridge the gap in between fillers and glass plants!
In 2025 we will be using even more VR and interactive tools to discuss in real time, new bottle developments!

So, on the third week of 2024, just prior to going to our very well deserved Christmas and New Year vacation, Empakglass's conducted a shopfloor audit on one of our Customers.
This is a part of a broader program we have initiated for Production support on this Customer, which will include:
Mould Design
Glass Conditioning
Batch and Furnace operation
Job Change
IS Production
Mouldshop operation
By working as a Team on all the departments a faster improvement will be consolidated!
Looking forward to show some of the achieved results in the upcoming months!

Following an assignment back in September to startup a 330ml Bottle in line 592 from Vidros Rio, with a full team from glass conditioning, IS production, Cold End & Quality and Mouldshop, which to be honest, wasn't successful according to our initial proposition, it neverless provided ABInbev's team good indicators to invite us again, this time for the GLASSMASTER 2024.
Now, in the first week of December, we returned back to Rio de Janeiro, for the 2024 ABInbev's GlassMaster.
Starting from the glass and its properties, then glass conditioning, proper gob loading and IS timing combined with a good mould design and mould maintenance, several pratical case studies were discussed!
Also, we had the possibility to use a training monossection and practiced several movements setups combining with swabbing techniques. Combining this with defect analysis, is definitely the way to improve efficiencies.
Our deep thanks to the participants which provided a huge level of passion and interest onto the subjects, something that truly makes IS Production such an important aspect on the Supply Chain of Container Glass Industry.
