The year still goes in February and Empak and Emhart held another Product Development & Mould Design Training, in Fevisa Mexicali.
During this training we had attendees ranging from:
IS Production;
Product Development & Mould Design;
Mouldshop;
Industrial Projects
Also the fact that there were IS Production and Mouldshop attendees from Arglass, USA, a plant with a a very specific type of product mix, made the level of interaction and debate very broad and passionate!
Therefore we focused on a holistic approach, ranging from glass properties, IS timing and even the impact of glass conditioning, gob temperature and delivery system in order to develop the building blocks for a successful mould design.
As part of our tradition in these trainings, we invite the attendees to bring real case scenarios to challenge Empak's PAKForming Simulator and this time was no exception.
We even simulated a new parison for a new trial and discussed with the team on the training. As result, Empak proposed another iteration of the Parison, for Fevisa use as a trial.
Our deep thanks to the participants from Fevisa and Arglass which provided a huge level of passion and interest onto the subjects, something that truly makes Product Development and Mould Design such an important aspect on the Supply Chain of Container Glass Industry. And also for their great Hospitality!
Finally, we had the chance to join with our CEO, Pedro Pontes, that visited us, to talk about anything but work!

Following the great results from 2022, once more Rubin Glass will have the technical support from Empakglass HQ and Empak Bulgaria Ltd, for the new furnace and production lines construction and team training.
This will include prior to the actual startup training programs for supervision and operation levels:
Product development & Mould Design
Batch, Furnace and Forehearth Operation
Cold End and Quality
And after the startup:
IS production onsite assistance
Cold End and Quality onsite assistance
It was also the perfect time for a gathering between our Lisbon and Plovdid teams!
We are looking forward to be challenged by RUBIN GLASS and to continue to help finding solutions!

It has been already 10 years since Empakglass started, from an idea and commitment to reduce the gap between product concept and production in the glass container industry.
And two years since ENNIONSTUDIO started to challenge what can be done in terms of a glass container design.
As the year comes to a close, we would like again to take the opportunity to thank you, for your continued commitment to challenge US!
2022 provided new challenges, namely with the staggering price increase in energy and raw materials, which materialized itself in further increasing our core strength, which is combining IS Production, Batch, Furnaces and forehearths and Mould Design.
We also saw several new products developed in junction between ENNIONSTUDIO and Empakglass, reaching out the market, which filled us with a huge sense of Pride and Joy.
In a more personal note, the year ends with a very sad news, our esteemed colleague and friend, Brian Rodger, from Emhart Glass, a person with whom we have worked very closely in the last few years, has passed away. We will be keeping the very fond memories of all successful projects we were both involved.
Finally, we are looking forward to 2023, to be challenged and to help finding solutions to your projects!
