EmpakGlass.... 10 Years "Dreaming in Glass"

This quote from wildely famous 13th Century Persian poet Rumi represents in a huge way, the spirit on which Empakglass was founded.

Without any preconcept notions, Empakglass's vision was to bring a scientific approach to the Glass Forming Process and combine it in a holistic way, in order to set the best possible startup conditions for any article to run on a IS machine.

Incredible to see how an idea grows into a concept and materializes onto a Company, on which the strongest asset is by far the People that work in it.

To see their happiness and leadership while developing their own projects, is the best possible reward!

For me, I do consider each and and everyone of them, not only as colleagues, but as true Friends!

With that strength, we have reached the milestone of 10 years working in the Container Glass Industry, supporting Glass Plants, Fillers, Distributors, Mouldmakers and IS Machines manufacturers.

Looking back, it all started, 10 years ago when during trip to Geneva, still on a scouting stage, Anne-Gaelle Leray which was back then in Bacardi, challenged us to put in motion a bottle which was not able to pass from "trial....retrial" for more than one year.

In four months, the project came to life and to its industrialization and basically set Empak's Motto and in fact, its Mojo: "First Gob, FIrst Bottle"

Therefore, this bottle development embodies the Spirit of Empakglass and sense of purpose in the container glass industry!

To all that continuously believe in Empak and keep challeging us to improve ourselves, our sincere Thanks!

Empak/Emhart Mould Design Training in Vetropack - Trezzano

Empak and Emhart held another Product Development & Mould Design Training, once again in Vetropack's installations in Trezzano Sul Naviglio, Italy, already having in mind the startup of the new Greenfield project of Boffalora.

During two weeks, two consecutive trainings were handled with an holistic approach, subjects like glass properties, analyzing an IS timing and even the impact of glass conditioning, gob temperature and delivery system, set the building blocks for a successful mould design.

To make it even more interesting, this training was focused on IS Production teams and not just for Mould Designers and Product developers, so the level of discussion was extremely passionate!

As part of our tradition in these trainings, we invite the attendees to bring real case scenarios to challenge Empak's PAKForming Simulator and this time was no exception.

We even simulated a new parison for a new trial and discussed with the team on the training. As result, Empak proposed another iteration of the Parison, which Vetropack validated as a better starting point for the IS production run.

Of course, with such an incredible scenery, our team took the opportunity to visit and explore the beauty of Florence, Pisa and Verona!

Our deep thanks to the participants from Vetropack which provided a huge level of passion and interest onto the subjects, something that truly makes Product Development and Mould Design such an important aspect on the Supply Chain of Container Glass Industry. And also for their great Hospitality!
